I know the Pitchfork just wrote about these guys, but it doesn't really look like they've gotten a lot of profile peeps because of it. They have an embarrassing number of friends. I'm hoping to help change that.

watching New York Noise (rerun), I saw this video. Sounds like classic 90s indie rock updated with beards and tats for the 2000s. The video is a little funny. Ironic? Hard to tell.

Bonde do Role at Studio B w/ Klaxons

I'm not a Klaxons hater. I think they're fine. Though I'll admit reading their news item in the New York Times today, I felt slightly turned off.

Friday was the second time I've seen Bonde do Role at Studio B. The first being another nightmarishly over-sold affair, that time starring Diplo. The rapidly climbing hype surrounding Bonde do Role is pretty palpable and it's easy to understand why. Brazil by way of Diplo: so far, so good.
